About Jayden Kwak
I am a new photographer, a Junior in high school. This is my second year with photography, and first year with sculpting. I hope to be more proficient in photography as I master the basics of photography, post-processing and 3D works.
Perspective
The first key to my photography journey is perspective. By using the point of views we have learned in class, I learned how to capture the moments from different angles and perspectives to create more unique and purposeful images.
Inspiration
Movement & Relationship
Even though most of this year has been for mastering different techniques, I learned that my favorite topics were regarding movement. Whether I am focusing on dark photography with artificial light sources, or I am capturing the freeze-frame motion with a very fast shutter speed, I love using the idea of movement in my photos. I am also working on using movement and motion to portray relationships between people. For instance, things like cars and golf balls are fast-moving entities, and these are often related to relationships (people talking in cars, people conducting business over golf). I want to show how these movements correlate to relationships with my photos, because those two things inspire me.
